Hot Buttered Rum

Yield: 20 Servings

1 lb butter; softened

16 oz package light brown sugar;

16 oz package powdered sugar; sifted

2 ts ground cinnamon

2 ts ground nutmeg

1 qt vanilla ice cream; softened

2 qt light rum

Combine first 5 ingredients in a large mixing bowl; beat at medium

speed with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Stir in ice

cream, and spoon into a large heavy-duty zip-top plastic bag;

freeze.

Combine 3 tablespoons ice cream mixture and 3 tablespoons rum in a

large mug; add 3/4 cup boiling water, stirring well. Serve with

whipped cream and cinnamon sticks.
