Buttermilk Oatmeal Bread (1.5 lb size)

1 1/4 c water

1 tsp salt

2 TB sugar

2 TB margarine

1/4 c oatmeal (I use high fiber oatmeal)

4 TB buttermilk powder (I use SACO)

3 c bread flour

1 1-1/2 tsp yeast

Put in machine in order suggested by machine maker. Works well on

timer. In the summer I've used as little as 1/2 tsp yeast - I

don't have air conditioning and my house gets up to 100 during day

and down to 80 at night. In the winter I use about 1-1/2 tsp yeast.

Enjoy. I used this when my son was young to get fiber into him when

all he would eat was white bread. You can't tell there was ever

oatmeal put in.
