Banana Nut Bread
3/4 cup butter1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups mashed bananas
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup buttermilk
3/4 cup nuts, chopped
Cream together butter and sugar. Add banana, eggs, and vanilla.
Sift together dry ingredients. Add alternately with buttermilk.
Blend well. Stir in nuts, and pour into a greased and floured loaf
pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1-1/4 hours.
