Sourdough Biscuits

1 c sourdough starter 

1 ts salt

1/2 ts soda

1 c flour

2 ts baking powder

4 T shortening, melted

Mix ingredients. Roll or pat dough 3/4 to 1 inch thick. Cut 2

inch biscuits or drop on greased pan. Let stand 20 minutes before

baking. Bake 20 - 25 minutes at 425 degrees F.
