Brown Rolls

1 tsp sugar 

1 cup warm water

1 tbsp yeast

1 cup oatmeal

2 tbsp oil

2 tsp salt

3/4 cup molasses

1 cup boiling water

1 cup cold water

6 to 6 1/2 cups of flour

Dissolve sugar in warm water. Sprinkle yeast on top.

Mix in bowl the oatmeal, oil, salt and molasses.

Add boiling water and cold water. Stir yeast, and add to mixture.

Add flour. Knead.

Let rise to twice size. Punch down. Make into rolls. Dot with

margarine on top. Let rise. Bake 350F for 15 minutes.
