Almond Brittle
1 cup sugar1 cup real butter
1 T. water
1 pkg. sliced almonds, about 1 1/4 cups
Mix all ingredients together in a heavy saucepan and cook till you
reach a rolling boil. Boil for 10 minutes stirring constantly.
Quickly pour into a heated jellyroll pan and spread thin. Let cool
and break apart.
