Chocolate Enrobed Garlic:
12 plump garlic cloves50 ml grenadine syrup
50 ml port
a pinch of aromatic salt
50g bitter chocolate
Put the garlic, syrup, port and salt in a bowl and marinate overnight.
Transfer to pan and simmer for 8-10 mins.
Open twelve paperclips out into a walking stick shape, pierce each
garlic clove with a paperclip
Melt the chocolate, dunk the cloves into the chocolate to coat
thoroughly and hang up to let the chocolate set.
Remove the paperclips and chill before serving.
