Bean Dishes--No Soups

I have a recipe called bean salad that everyone I know loves. It's not

really a salad--more like chili con carne. It's quick to make.

1 lb. Parks Hot & Sagey Sausage

1/2 C chopped onions

1/2 C chopped celery

1 can Pork & Beans

1 can string beans, drained

1 can lima beans, drained

1 can red kidney beans, drained

1 can white kidney beans, drained

1 can condensed tomato soup + 1 can water

1 can tomato paste

Brown sausage with celery and onions. Break up the sausage into

pieces as it cooks. Do NOT drain the fat. Combine with remaining

ingredients. Heat thoroughly for at least 30 minutes. I use a

crock pot to keep hot for about 2 hours before eating. You may

need to add water to keep it at a consistency of chili con carne.

Great for parties and BBQs.

(Trust me--it great. I know there are a lot of canned goods in

here.)

For those of you with galvanized gullets (like me), add additional

hot sauce (Tabasco, habenero, etc) to really heat things up.
