Beef Stew

3 lbs. beef stew meat

1 #2 can sliced carrots

1 #2 can small onions

1 #2 can of tomatoes (whole)

1 #2 can tiny peas

1 #2 can green beans (not French cut)

1/2 can beef consomme

4 Tbs tapioca

1/2 cup plain bread crumbs

1/2 cup white wine

1 1/2 Tbs salt

pepper to taste

Drain all vegetables, except tomatoes. Combine all ingredients in

roasting pan. Baker at 250 degrees for 6-7 hours with cover.

This is especially delicious and great to make when leaving the

house for shopping or entertaining guests all day....
