CHRISTMAS CAKE4 oz self-raising flour
4 oz plain flour
6 oz sugar
6 oz margarine or butter
3 eggs
3 tsp mixed spice
grated rind of an orange and lemon
1 oz chopped almonds
8 oz mixed currants, sultanas, raisins and cranberries
2 oz candied peel
2 Tbsp marmaladeMix all and cook in an 8" cake tin (pan for us North Americans) at
Gas 2 (300 F) for about 3 hours.
