1 cup shortening
 2 cups sugar
 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
 2 cups flour
 1 teaspoon cinnamon
 Cream the shortening and sugar.  Combine the dry ingredients and mix 
 them into the shortening.  Roll the dough out 1/4 inch thick and cut 
 into small shapes. Bake at 400 F for 10 to 12 minutes.
 While they are still hot , dip them in a mixture of
 1/2 cup sugar
 1 teaspoon cinnamon
