1 1/3 cups UNSALTED coarsely chopped cashews
 2 cups unbleached white flour
 3/4 tsp baking powder
 3/4 tsp baking soda
 1/2 tsp salt
 3/4 cup + 2 tbs light brown sugar
 1/2 cup unsalted butter
 1 egg
 1 tsp vanilla
 1/2 cup sour cream
 Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Soften butter.  Mix flour, baking powder and soda,
  salt, and cashews.  Cream butter and sugar; beat in eggs and vanilla.  Mix in
 sour cream.  Add flour mixture. Drop dough by teaspoons onto greased cookie
 sheets.  Bake 10-15 minutes until golden brown.  Makes roughly 6 dozen.
