Red Wine Biscotti

2 1/2  cups          all-purpose flour

1/2 cup sugar

1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

1/2 cup dry red wine

1/2 cup olive oil

1 egg white

2 tablespoons sesame seeds

Oven 350.

Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, pepper. Add wine and oil and stir

just until smooth.

Divide dough into 4 pieces. Shape into 10" logs, brush with egg white,

sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Cut logs into 3/4" slices. Ungreased baking sheets, 25 minutes or lightly

browned. Cool.
