POPPYSEED BISCOTTI

2 cups flour

1 cup sugar

1/4 cup poppyseeds

1 tsp b.p.

1/2 tsp b.s.

1/4 tsp salt

2 whole eggs

2 egg whites

4 tbs fresh orange juice

grated peel from one orange

Combine the dry ingredients, combine the wet ingredients

Mix all to form a dough.

shape into 2 logs each about 14inches long. 1 1/2 inches wide

on greased baking sheets,

Bake 350 20 to 25 minutes or until set.

Slice on the diagonal.

About 2 dozen pieces.

Note: I never twice bake my biscotti because I enjoy them soft .

You can return these to the oven if you wish to toast them more

Store air tight.
