Caramel Chocolate Brownies

This is a  rich brownie recipe.

Caramel Chocolate Brownies

1 14oz package Kraft caramels

1 German (Swiss) chocolate cake mix

3/4 cup melted butter

1 cup chocolate chips

1 small can evaporated milk

1 cup chopped walnuts

Melt the caramels and 1/3 c evaporated milk

Mix cake mix, melted butter, 1/3 cup evaporated milk, walnuts

Grease 9" x 13" pann; pat 1/2 of cake mixture in it

Bake at 350 for 7 minutes

Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips and pour caramel

mixture over partially cooked base. Drop/crumble rest of cake

mixture over top.

Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.

Remove from oven; refrigerate before cutting (because of caramel)
