Beer Baked Beans

1 lb. Jacobs Cattle Beans

1 lb. lean salt pork

1 large onion, chopped

1 tsp. salt

1 tsp. dry mustard

1/3 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup molasses

1/2 tsp. fresh ground pepper

1/3 cup honey

12 oz. beer

Cover beans with water and soak overnight, drain. Add salt pork

to beans and cover with enough water to boil. Boil beans till skin

splits. Drain, remove salt pork and cut into 2-inch cubes and

score them. Mix all the other ingredients together and add to

beans. Place in crock pot and add enough water to cover beans.

Add the salt pork. Cover and cook on low temp. for 8 hours.
