Almond Jello (Chinese Gelatin Dessert)

I am so glad there is someone else that appreciates this!

I call it Almond Jello:

1 package of Knox gelatin

1 cup of water

1 cup of milk

1 T of almond extract

1 t sugar (optional)

Boil the water and dissolve the gelatin. Add milk and stir. Throw

in almond extract (I pour in 1T, then I pour in a little extra).

Stir. (Add the sugar earlier with the gelatin; sorry)

Gel in a square pan in the refrigerator. When gelled, cut into

squares. I serve it with fruit cocktail. (I don't know what

the milky liquid is. there are many variations of this dish)
