1 cup sugar
 1 cup flour
 1 Tables. baking powder
 1 egg
 Cinnamon to taste
 1 Tables. butter
 3-4 apples,  pared and sliced thin
 Pre heat oven- 375 deg. F.  Grease 8x8" glass baking dish Combine
 and mix first four ingred., mix until crumbly.  Place apples in
 bottom of glass dish.  Cover with the crumb mixture.  Dot with the
 butter Sprinkle with cinnamon
 Bake 375 - 30 min.  Serve with vanilla ice cream.
