FRENCH CHERRY PIE

2 cup flour

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 cup walnuts

1 cup margarine

1 cup powdered sugar

8 oz package cream cheese

1 tsp. vanilla

2 packages Dream Whip

Mix together flour, brown sugar, walnuts and margarine and pat in

9 X 12-13" oblong cake pan. Bake 15 minutes at 400 degrees. Let

cool slightly, but while still warm, use a fork and crumble into

pieces and press back into pan

Cream powdered sugar, cream cheese and vanilla. Make Dream Whip

according to package directions.

Add Dream Whip to creamed cheese mixture. Cover crust with 2/3 of

this mixture. Top with 2 large cans (or 2 quarts. thickened) Cherry

pie filling. (Or use you favorite fruit pie filling). Cover with

remaining 1/3 of the creamed mixture.

Cover and Chill 12 hours.
