Heather's Dips

If you love cheese...try this! Its wonderful! :)

1 onion, chopped

1 tomato, chopped

2 cups monterey jack cheese

1 tbs chopped jalapeno, HOT!

1 package of pita bread

Pre-heat oven to 400 on broil.

First, slice pitas in half and then seperate the layers. Slice into triangles.

(Larger slices are better for dipping.) Spray large cookie sheet with cooking

spray. Spread pita slices on baking sheet, spray again with cooking spray and

top with lemon pepper. Watch closely and broil until brown.

Now, combine first four ingredients in oven safe bowl/dish.(Spray first) Bake

this for 20 minutes. Remove from oven, stir and serve with warm pita chips.

If you like Mexican dips better, try this variation...

1 onion, chopped

1 tomato, chopped

1 can picante style beans

1 cup cheddar cheese

1 cup monterey jack cheese

1 tbs. chopped jalapenos(optional)

1 package pitas

Follow directions above.
