Baked Gnocchi
2 c milk, heated but not boiling1/2 c regular Cream of Wheat
1 T salt
1/4 c butter or margarine
1/8 t cayenne
1 C grated cheddar cheese
1 egg, lightly beaten
Combine milk, Cream of Wheat, salt, butter, and cayenne in a double
boiler and heat until butter melts, stirring. Remove from heat
and stir in the cheese, then the egg. Place in a greased caserole
and let stand at room temperature. Bake at 350F for 1 hour, until
nicely browned on top.
