Herb Dumplings

1 egg, well beaten

3 tablespoons milk

1 tablespoon cold water

1/2 teaspoon sage

1/2 teaspoon thyme

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon baking powder

In a mixing bowl combine egg, milk, water, sage and thyme. Sift in

flour, salt and baking powder. Mix to form a light dough. Drop in

to rapidly boiling soup stock or water, cover, reduce heat and let

simmer 10 - 12 minutes.
