Title: Brandy Cake

Brandy Cake

250 g butter

250 g sugar

6 eggs

250 g flour

1 package (17 g in Germany) baking powder

250 g diced sweet chocolate

some apricot jam

50 g almond leaves

1/4 litre brandy

Cream sugar and butter, add eggs one after the other. Combine baking

powder with flour and add to the dough. Grease or line a springform,

fill in the dough and bake the cake for about 1 hour at 350 F.

Prick the cake with a thin wooden stick on various places and

distribute brandy over the cake. Let cool off, brush the cake with

apricot jam and chocolate which has been dissolved prior in a bain

marie. Decorate with almond leaves.
