Indian chicken curry
Here is a simple Indian chicken curry recipe.1 whole chicken cut into 4x4" size
3 big onions
1 cup grated fresh coconut or dry powder
7-8 red dry chilli
3 tablespoon dhania powder( you get this in any indian store)
2 tablespoon chopped cilantra
1 teaspoon turmeric
Meanwhile chop all the onions fry it until it becomes brown, add
the chillies, fry for some more time.Add chopped cilantro, dhania
powder and grated coconut and grind it to smooth paste using water.
You can use little bit of oil for frying onions.
Place a pan with 2 tablespoon of oil. When the oil becomes warm
put all your chicken pieces. Add some salt ant turmeric and fry
for some more time. Add the grinded masala + salt according to your
taste + water and cook till the chichen getess cooked for atleast
20 mins. This goes very well with pita bread and white rice.
Instead of dhania + red chilly, you can use any type of curry powder
which you get in Indian store like:
1> sambar powder 2> curry powder 3> chicke masala
