Lebanese Hushawa
Lebanese Hushawa
1 stick butter
1 pound ground lamb
2 cups rice
2 tablespoons cumin
1 tablespoon allspice
salt
and pepper
water
Melt butter in saucepan, brown lamb. Add rice and saute for a few
minutes. Add cumin and allspice. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Then cover with water. Let come to a boil, turn then simmer until
rice is done. Serve with roasted chicken.
