Beef Marinade

This is a super marinade for flank steak or other cheaper steak cuts. Even

my meat-fussy nine year old son loves this steak...

Beef Marinade

1/3 to 1/2 c. olive oil

1/3 to 1/2 c. soya sauce

2 Tbls. lemon juice

2 cloves garlic, minced

ground cumin (1 tsp, or more)

ground coriander " "

1 inch piece ginger, grated (1 tsp dry ginger will do if you don't have fresh)

Mix above ingredients well and pour over flank steak in a flat dish. Leave

all day or over night in marinade, turning frequently. I put the steak in

a zip-lock bag and dump the marinade in, and I just flip the bag over

every hour or so, at room temp or in refrigerator over night.

Drain and barbecue or oven broil for 5-6 minutes per side. We serve this

rare, sometimes with horseradish
