Irish Stout Marinade

12 oz bottle Irish Stout or Porter (flat)

1 Tbsp Dried Basil

4 cloves Garlic

1/2 med. onion

Recommendation: Beers often come and go in seasonal fads. Guiness is always a

good stand-by, but try other seasonals (Brooklyn Brewery Black Chocolate Stout

works great! Avail: winter) or if you have a local brewpub at you disposal,

get a pint of their house porter.

Directions: Combine all ingredients in a blender and homogenize. After

marinating meat for 24 hours, combine steak and marinade in a baking dish deep

enough to cover

steak half-way. Bake at 450 deg. for 45 minutes or to taste. Grill and BBQ at

your own discretion.
