Take some nice big apples (your choice) and core.  Make sure the
 apples will sit upright in a pan or use an actual apple baker.
 Make a mixture of brown sugar, cinnamon and raisins (all in the 
 amounts you prefer). Stuff holes with mixture, dot with butter and 
 bake at 350F till softened (can test it by poking with a fork).
 You can also do this in the microwave if you prefer.
