Fatoush1 head romaine lettuce
1 bunch parsley
2 tomatoes
1 regular cucumber, deseeded, or about half of a European cucumber
4-5 radishes
1/4 C mint
1-2 loaves of pita, depending on what size is available
1-2 T sumac
salt & pepper
3 lemons
olive oilWash everything up and cut into bite size pieces. Split the pita
in half and toast. You can do this on top of the stove, if you
want to. Just place it on top of the burner. When all the garden
pieces and bread is in the bowl, sprinkle the sumac, salt, pepper
& lemon juice on top. Pour a goodly amount of olive oil (approx.
1/2 C to start with?). Mix it all up and taste. Just correct the
seasoning the way you like it.
