Low-Fat Chili Con Carne
1 pound ground turkey breast1 onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1/8 cup fat free chicken broth
16 ounce can kidney beans
16 ounce can whole tomatoes
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/8 teaspoon minced garlic
In large nonstick skillet over high heat, cook ground turkey for
10 minutes or until browned. Remove from heat and rinse with hot
water; set aside. In separate nonstick skillet, saute onions and
pepper in broth until tender. Add turkey and remaining ingredients
including juice from tomatoes, cover and simmer for 20 minutes;
stir occasionally. Serve hot with fat free crackers. Makes 6
servings.
